Johnstone Christmas Lights Switch-On

Date: Saturday 30 November 2024

Time: 1pm to 5pm

Venue: Johnstone town centre

What’s On

Activities include:

• Christmas stalls managed by St. Vincent’s Hospice
• free family festive photo opportunities, including a snow globe and Santa’s sleigh
• free children’s face painting
• Santa’s Grotto
• funfair rides for both adults and children
• stilted walkabout acts featuring the Candy Cane Lady and a Nutcracker.

Switch-On Moment

Join us in Houstoun Square at 5pm for the switch-on of the Christmas lights around the town centre.

Volunteer to help at major events

For each event, we need volunteers to help us out. There are lots of different roles for our events volunteers. 

Volunteering is a great way to get skills and experience in working at major events. It’s also a great way of getting out and about, meeting new and like-minded people, and making a valuable contribution to your community.
