Alex was born in Johnstone and takes great pride in his community projects. He founded the “Johnstone Talking Newspaper for the blind” back in 1982, Now Renfrewshire Sound, which just celebrated its 45th year of service.

I am the founder of Johnstone Sound back in 2019 along side Andy, together we established a great team for the station. The team is dedicated in creating radio shows for Johnstone Sound,

My shed of sound productions project produces the Reach 80s and the Friday Night LIVE shows for Johnstone Sound, I also maintain the stations website.
