I have done sports podcasts and I was on my Facebook feed one day and I seen an advertisement for Johnstone community radio. After getting in touch via email I started training and I've now got my own weekly show. I play anything from classic rock ,Indie and r and b hits to modern songs that maybe no one has heard in a while or at all. I have a varied music taste that I love to share with everyone and hopefully my show makes people laugh or just happy in general. Music is life and can remind you of certain moments whether that would be happy or sad and thats why I have a passion for it.

I’m Emma, also known as ‘Frenchie’, and I’ve been a professional singer for 18 years. I’m from the south of France but I moved to Glasgow 2017 to study Music Business, then Marketing & Communications. I love discovering new bands and going to local gigs, that’s why I joined Johnstone Sound in April 2021 to host French Connection. It gives me the opportunity to play new music and unsigned bands from France, Scotland and beyond every week.
