I was born in Johnstone and lived in Howwood Road, on Duncraig Cres I went to Johnstone High School. 1982, with a couple of school friends founded the “Johnstone Talking Newspaper for the blind”. The service has just celebrated its 40th year of service. This is one project I am very proud of the volunteers all do a great job.
I present the LIVE 80s @ 8 Thursday nights on Johnstone Sound. I am the Founder and chairman of Johnstone Sound, we have the best dedicated team here at the station.
I broadcast from my Shed Of Sound, which has a full broadcast studio.
I also look after the station along with the rest of the committee, but my main job is scheduling radio shows and updating the system. I also look after the website,
As a team we are all working very hard to move the station forward, we are just over 3 years old now and the only Radio Station for the Community of Johnstone.
